At the Bieberbau nursery, the focus is on the children’s creative expression. Art offers them the opportunity to give visible form to their thoughts, feelings and personal perspectives in their very own way – without any pressure to perform or be judged.

As part of ARTMUC, the children are given a special opportunity to present and sell their artwork in a public setting for the first time. In this way, they experience that their ideas and creative work are seen and valued.

All proceeds from the sales go directly towards the nursery’s educational work – including new creative materials, workshops, art projects and excursions. The children also wish to keep a portion of the proceeds for themselves.

The project thus combines artistic expression, a sense of self-efficacy and the realisation that one’s own creativity can have real value.
